Padded Flag Football
Padded Flag is the next step in a players youth football journey as full padding is introduced at 4th grade and extends into 5th. Games are 8v8 and played on a limited size field with flags (no tackling). This level gets more physical as players continue to learn how football is played.
Eligibility
Any boy or girl who will be in 4th and 5th grades in the fall and either attends or resides within the boundaries of the Belleville School District (Belleville, WI) are eligible
Note: Players may be asked to play up or down a grade at times due to participation numbers.
When
The Padded Flag season will start the first week of August and run into October.
Where
Practices are held at Sugar River Park in Belleville.

Practices
Practices will 3 times a week (M-Tu-Th) until school starts. Once school begins practices will be 2 times a week (Tu-Th).
Games
Games are held on Saturdays.

Is all equipment provided?
Yes! BYF provides all equipment for players. (Not including cleats)
Are there different rules for Padded Flag?
Yes. Padded Flag is a blend of conventional 11-man football and flag football. Full Padded Flag league rules can be found on the League Rules Page.
